ADU Loans in Hawaiʻi, explained
Every county in Hawaiʻi has loosened accessory dwelling unit rules in recent years, and ADUs are now the most accessible way to add a rental unit without buying another property. Banks struggle to finance them because the value is not there yet. We lend to the completed value.
Our ADU loans fund construction in draws and are repaid when you refinance the improved property into long-term financing or sell. We lend at 50% loan-to-value as a standard and go higher when the project justifies it. Interest-only payments at roughly 1% per month. No credit minimum, no W-2s, no bank statements to get a quote.
